Academic Advising
Academic advising may be initiated by American International World University personnel or the student when the need is identified.
Placement Services
American International World University placement services provide support to help graduate obtain employment in their field of study, as requested. We offer job search assistance, resume building, and interview preparation.
American International World University does not and cannot promise or guarantee either employment nor level of income or wage rate to any Student or Graduate.
Records
American International World University records consist of the following permanent scholastic records for all students who are admitted, even if withdrawn:
Records maintained for not less than 60 years:
Official Transcript
Diploma
Records maintained for not less than 10 years:
Admissions Documentation and Enrolment Agreement
Record of Payments
Record of Refund, if applicable
Any Financing Agreement, if applicable
Performance Information in Course of Enrollment, to include final grade
When a request for an official transcript or diploma is received by American International World University, it will be provided no later than 60 days after receiving the request.
Leave of Absence
American International World University does not provide a leave of absence. Should a student not be able to complete a program, the student will be withdrawn and may apply for re-entry into the program at a later date.
Grievance Procedure
When a concern occurs, the student is requested to discuss the concern directly with the assigned faculty member. If a resolution cannot be reached, the student should document the concern in writing and make an appointment to speak with the President. The formal written concern must state the issue and desired outcome and should include any documentation that supports the concern. The President will review the written statement and any supporting documentation, gather facts, and endeavor to provide a written response to the student within ten (10) business days. The President will provide the decision to the student in writing, and the decision is final.
If the student complaint cannot be resolved after exhausting the institution’s grievance procedure, the student may file a complaint with the Utah Department of Commerce – Division of Consumer Protection.
